Want to put your dance skills to the test? This contest is for you! Jack & Jill is a multi-round contest where both your partner and the music are drawn randomly. The contest is sanctioned by the World Swing Dance Council and follows the established guidelines. All the finals are Spotlighted (except Newcomer).

Routines

Routines are the ultimate in control and precision. You get to choose your partner and the music, but there is a catch! With great power comes great responsibility. Although judged similar to Jack & Jill and strictly, more emphasis is placed on precision of movement, timing, difficulty, musicality and PERFORMANCE. You and your partner will command the stage alone as all your dance friends and family cheer you on!.

  • Invitational Routines: This contest is by invite only. Partnerships and music will be drawn in advance.

Resolution 16

Resolution 16 (*Previously Swing 16) is an exciting and engaging contest. All levels of dancers enter and dance with and against each other. The contest is setup Jack & Jill style for partner selection and music. After the preliminary round, the top 16 leaders and followers will be paired off to compete in head to head contests…Tournament Style. The atmosphere is electric as you move through rounds of the tournament.
